Selected with an 2.7% international acceptance to be apart of Yenching Academy's 9th cohort. This prestigious global fellowship provided the opportunity to pursue a fully-funded master's degree at Peking University while living and learning with 120 of the world's emerging global leaders.
Selected as a 2023 Service to Youth Honoree for contributions to high school youth through the Torch Leadership Academy. This prestigious award has recognized individuals for their public service and contributions to communities since 1972.
Selected as Rutgers 2023 Revolutionary Awardee for increasing voter turnout and registration through the Eagleton Institute’s Darien Civic Engagement Project and providing bussing to polling locations for students living on-campus.

CAPAL places scholars within government and political forums, while conducting an intensive program that teaches scholars about ways to influence public policy in their AAPI and local communities

Selected as New Jersey's Representative out of an overall poll of over 500 applicants. The Henry Clay College Program allows engage with lawmakers, academics, government relations experts, policy advisors and other leaders, while in Kentucky and Washington, DC, to explore the challenges of formulating comprehensive public policy. At the conclusion of this program, Nina was awarded the Outstanding Policy Position & Compromise Strategy Award for her work on Social Media Policy.
Selected as one of 30 student out of over 500 applicants to intern at a federal agency in Washington, D.C., over the summer. Nina participated in weekly speaker series and professional development workshops to cultivate leadership and networking skills. The Fellowship aims to engage with outstanding AANHPI college students from across the nation and help cultivate their leadership potential.
Elected to serve as the sole undergraduate student representative. Responsible for voicing the concerns of over 65,000 students and delivering outcomes that adhere to the common interests of the Rutgers student body.
Selected as the recipient of Q102's Teen Hero of the Year Award for service to community. Through committing numerous hours and raising thousands of dollars for the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey, Nina presented as the awardee.
